Homemade Strawberry Lemon Pops
There’s something about the combination of strawberries and lemons that just tastes like summer. These strawberry lemonade popsicles are bright, tangy, and just sweet enough—made with real fruit and a few simple ingredients.
They come together in minutes and freeze beautifully, making them perfect for kids, cookouts, or a refreshing afternoon snack.
During warm lake days here in the Midwest, they always disappear fast, so I always try to keep a batch ready to go. If you love fruit-forward frozen treats like we do, these homemade popsicles are bound to become a warm-weather staple.

Ingredient Notes

Find the full printable recipe below.
- Strawberries: For that sweet, fruity flavor. Use fresh or thawed frozen berries.
- Fresh lemons (juiced): Adds that bright, tangy lemonade taste.
- Water: Helps everything blend together smoothly.
- Agave nectar: A natural sweetener that balances the tartness.
How to Make Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles
First, remove the crowns from the strawberries and rinse them thoroughly under cool water.
Add the strawberries, lemon juice, water, and agave nectar to a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined.

Carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little room at the top. Insert the popsicle sticks and place the molds in the freezer.
Freeze for at least 6 hours, or until the popsicles are fully set and solid.

Tips for Success
- Use ripe strawberries for the best natural sweetness.
- Strain the liquid if you prefer a smoother texture with no seeds or pulp.
- For more strawberry flavor, add some strawberry jam.
- Love citrus? Add up to 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest.
- To easily remove popsicles from the mold, run them under warm water for a few seconds.
Variations
- Strawberry Basil: Add a few fresh basil leaves to the blender.
- Coconut Lemonade: Swap the water for coconut water.
- Strawberry Lemon Yogurt Pops: Swirl in a spoonful of vanilla yogurt before freezing for a creamy texture.
- Instead of agave: Use honey or granulated sugar.
