Then wash and dry the blueberries, and toss both into a big mixing bowl.

Next, slice your apple into thin rounds. Use small star cookie cutters to punch out those cute apple stars, this is the fun part!

Finally, add the apple stars to the bowl and give everything a gentle toss. Pop the bowl in the fridge to chill until you’re ready to serve.
Fruit Swaps and Variations
- Try other white fruits like watermelon, pineapple, or honeydew for the stars.
- Add red fruits like raspberries or cherries, or even a handful of blackberries for contrast.
- Toss with a simple honey-lime dressing (2 Tbsp honey + 2 Tbsp lime juice) to prevent browning and add a sweet, zesty finish.
Tips for Success
- Choose ripe but firm fruit for the best texture and color.
- Don’t skip the chilling time, this salad tastes best served cold!
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Best enjoyed the same day. Do not freeze.
