Sweet apple cider and spicy cinnamon whiskey come together in this Fireball apple cider. Serve it hot or chilled for the ultimate fall cocktail.

Fireball and Apple Cider Cocktail
Fireball apple cider is a cocktail that is both cozy and bold. The sweet, crisp flavor of apple cider balances perfectly with the fiery kick of cinnamon whiskey for a simple yet unforgettable drink. Serve it hot to warm up chilly nights or serve chilled for a refreshing fall sip.
I’ll be honest, I hadn’t reached for Fireball since my college days, but paired with apple cider it feels elevated and surprisingly sophisticated. This two-ingredient cocktail works just as well around the campfire as it does for holiday gatherings when you need something less sweet than my apple cider mimosas. For a non-alcoholic version, try apple cider mocktail.

- Apple cider: The sweet base that makes this cocktail taste like fall in a glass. You’ll want fresh apple cider, not cinnamon or caramel flavored.
- Fireball whiskey: Brings the spicy cinnamon kick that balances the cider. Other cinnamon flavored whiskey blends will work, just not cinnamon schnapps.
- Optional garnishes: Apple slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and fresh rosemary.
How to Make Fireball Apple Cider Cocktail
Add Fireball whiskey to your glass, then pour in the apple cider.

Finish the fireball cider recipe with apple slices, a cinnamon stick, star anise, or rosemary if you’d like. Sip and enjoy!

Recipe Tips
- Hot or chilled. Add ice to the cocktails for a refreshing version, or warm the cider until steamy but not boiling for a cozy sip.
- Add a splash. A little lemon juice brightens the flavor, or try ginger ale for fizz and balance.
- Quick conversions. If you don’t have a jigger, remember 1 ounce equals 2 tablespoons.
- Fun garnish. Crushed Red Hot candies around the rim of the fireball apple cider make a sweet and spicy upgrade.
Storage
This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 week in a sealed container.
If you freeze it, keep in mind the alcohol will prevent it from freezing completely solid. Store in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months, then thaw in the fridge before serving.
