Mini Waffle Recipe
These homemade mini waffles are easy to make from scratch in your Dash waffle maker with a light and fluffy texture and crisp exterior! These bite-sized waffles are perfect for breakfast.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil , or melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a medium sized mixing bowl add 1 cup flour, 2 Tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Whisk to combine.
Make a well in the center and add the egg, milk, oil (or melted butter) and vanilla extract. Whisk to combine.
Rest batter for 5 minutes while the mini waffle maker preheats.
Spray waffle maker with cooking spray then add 2 Tablespoons batter to the iron. Cook for 1-2 minutes or according to manufacturer's directions. Waffles should be crisp and golden.
Serve immediately or place on wire rack to cool.
Yield: 8-9 mini waffles.
Store: Cool then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Freeze: Cool then store waffles in an freezer-safe bag in the freezer for up to 3 months. Store waffles between parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Reheat: Reheat from frozen in the microwave or toaster. I like to reheat for about 10-20 seconds in the microwave then place in the toaster to crisp and finish.
