Packed with classic BLT flavors, like crispy bacon, juicy tomato, and fresh lettuce, these Hawaiian Roll BLT sliders are quick to assemble and the ultimate party bite.
Garnish: 12 cherry tomatoes, 12 small pieces of curly kale
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally to separate the tops from the bottoms. Place them cut-side up on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5–7 minutes, or until they’re lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and lay the tops cut-side up. Spread about 1 Tablespoon of mayo on each one, or simply swipe a generous layer across with a knife if you're short on time.
Place a tomato slice on each bottom half (feel free to double up if you love tomato), then top with two slices of bacon.
Add a layer of shredded lettuce over the bacon, using as much or as little as you like.
Finish by placing the top slider buns over the filling.
Gently pull the sliders apart before serving, and enjoy!
Optional garnish: Thread a cherry tomato and small piece of kale onto a toothpick and stick one into each slider.
Notes
Toast the buns. For extra flavor and a golden finish, butter both sides of the rolls before toasting.
Salt the tomatoes. A small pinch of salt can bring out their juiciness and brighten the whole slider.
Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Freezing isn’t recommended as the lettuce and tomatoes don’t hold up well once thawed.
