Description

If you're looking to make some seasonal cookies by design, definitely try this easy recipe for Halloween cookies. They are really simple to make, fun to do with your friends and family, and super tasty, with a side of spookiness. Coming up with a few ideas for Halloween cookies never got easier!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Baking Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 stick Butter
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Sieve flour, baking soda, and sugar through a strainer into a bowl.

  2. Add room-temperature butter and vanilla extract. Mix everything by hand until dough feels sandy.

  3. Make a hole in the middle of the dough and put an egg in it. Mix egg into dough by hand until soft.

  4. Spritz dry flour over the counter, and pound out dough over it with rolling a pin.

    Pounded dough should be wide enough to cut 9-10 cookies.
  5. Use Halloween cookie cutters and cut shapes into dough. Decorate cookies with M&Ms, Reese's, and icing.

    During Halloween, we like shapes such as bats, pumpkins, spiders, and ghosts!
  6. Throw cookies into over for 15 minutes. VOILA! Remove Halloween cookies from oven. Cool for a few minutes, cut, and serve!
