Description

If you're looking for a strawberry smoothie with oats, and all-natural ingredients like almond milk, chia and flax seeds, then you've got to try this recipe. This fruit smoothie has the perfect combination of sweetness, fiber, and it yields an amazing 130% vitamin C per serving! It's perfect to curb that late night craving for something sweet, and is definitely an excellent replacement for ice cream.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Frozen Strawberries
  • 2 cups Almond Milk (Unsweetened Vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup Oats
  • 3 tablespoons Plain Yogurt (Nonfat)
  • 3 tablespoons Flax Seeds
  • 2 teaspoons Chia
  • 1/4 tablespoon Cinnamon (Powder)
  • 3 grams Sweetener (Optional (Recommended))
  • 1/4 cup Ice (Optional (Recommended))
Instructions
  1. Rinse organic strawberries in cold water. Cut their stems off and toss them.

  2. Add almond milk in blender, followed by yogurt, flax seeds, chia, cinnamon, oats, then strawberries.

It's best to add liquids first, and top it with the ice. This way the ice won't get stuck.
  3. Add sweetener, and blend away. This should yield two full sized glasses. Serve in glass cups and eco-friendly straws. Enjoy!
