Description

If you enjoy juicy and flavorful chicken baked in the oven, then you will love this recipe. It takes less than an hour to make, you can prepare batches at a time to freeze for later, and it's something you can eat multiple times per week without getting burnt out from it. Your family will crave it (and love you for making it), and your friends will be super impressed with how gourmet it feels (and tastes!).

Ingredients
  • 3 Chicken Breast (Boneless)
  • 15 ounces Bread Crumbs
  • 9 Ham Slices
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce (Tomato & Basil)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/4 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
  1. Pre-slice chicken breasts - 3 filets per breast.

  2. Mix eggs and milk into large bowl by hand or mixer. Add salt, parsley, pepper and garlic.

  3. Place pre-sliced chicken inside garlic pepper mix. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.

While letting chicken filets soak in mixture, pre-heat oven to 430°F.
  4. Cover a flat pan with bread crumbs. After 10-15 minutes of the filets soaking in mixture, place each in the bread crumbs. Cover both sides fully.

  5. Place tin foil over another flat pan, and spray with cooking oil. Put the filets on the pan, and throw them in oven for 10 minutes.

  6. After 10 minutes, remove filets from oven, flip them, and put back in oven for 10 minutes.

  7. Remove filets from oven, and paint each with tomato sauce, a slice of ham, and mozzarella cheese. Then place in oven again for 2 minutes (or until cheese is melted).

Secret #1: add a little crumbling blue cheese over each filet, before putting in oven for last 2 minutes.
  8. Remove the chicken milanesas from the oven, and VOILA! Serve with French fries, salad, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Secret #2: Let the chicken filets marinate in the garlic pepper mixture the night before. It makes the milanesas more flavorful, and noticeably softer with each bite!

Note

This is one of my favorite dishes. You can also use other meats to make these milanesas, like beef.
